Development of devices for data destruction from flash media



DISKUS Polska has been conducting research and development for many years. It is mainly related to the issues of removing data from carriers such as: SSD drives, pen drives or very popular mobile devices. The company has implemented, among others a research and development project related to the construction of a demagnetiser for the irretrievable destruction of Prodevice ASM120 digital data.


The subject of this project is to conduct research and development works related to the development of a prototype device for erasing data from flash media. The project will be implemented in a new research and development laboratory that DISKUS Polska launched at the turn of 2017 and 2018. The project will cover 4 tasks, including task No. 1 as part of industrial research related to the development of equipment assumptions and task No. 2 and 3 as part of development works related to the development and testing of the initial and final version of the prototype. Task 4 will be connected with carrying out pre-implementation work.


The project will involve a specialized scientific unit, which will be commissioned to perform part of the work. The research staff of the company will be present employees of the R & D department and newly employed 4 people.


The research and development project will end with the implementation directly in the company DISKUS Polska, which on the basis of the results will launch data deletion services and equipment production for its future and current customers (current recipients of products are companies from Poland and 30 countries around the world).
